Mullanpur, New Chandigarh

Mullanpur, popularly known as New Chandigarh, is a planned urban extension of Chandigarh developed by GMADA. New Chandigarh, also referred to as Mullanpur, is an planned extension of the city of Chandigarh, developed by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, and this project was conceptualized to decongest the city of Chandigarh and to develop a modern, sparsely populated, and well-planned urban area. This region is being developed with broad roads, green belts, institutional areas, and high-end residential sectors, thus making it one of the most promising real estate destinations in the Tricity.

The locality sits in the foothills of the Shivalik range and forms part of a much larger eco-township. Eco City I and Eco City II are the residential townships in New Chandigarh, spread over 806 acres in the foothills of the Shivalik Hills. DLF entered this belt early with Hyde Park Estate, a large gated development spanning South Mullanpur.
